Beijing Vocational College of Agriculture(“BVCA”in short),established in 1958, isthe only public full- time vocational college engaged in agricultural education in Beijing and one of the State Model Vocational College.BVCA is Director General organization of the China Urban Agriculture Vocational Education Group and Beijing UrbanAgriculture Vocational Education Group, and Director organization of the Rural andAgricultural Vocational Education Commission under the Chinese Society of Vocational and Technical Education.

The college occupies an area of 81.22 hectares with a building area of 303,400 m².BVCA has 8 schools, including the School of Horticulture and Landscape, the School ofAnimal Science and Technology, the School of Food and Bioengineering, the School ofIntelligent Agricultural Engineering, the School of Conservancy and Civil Engineering,the School of Business and Management, the School of General Education and theSchool of Marxism. The college has 416 full-time teachers and around 9600 students.

BVCA has been active in carrying out international exchange and cooperation.In thepast years,the college has established long-term and stable relations with 55 vocational educational institutions,such as Voronez State Agrarian University in Russia,DEULA-NIENBURG in Germany,Lentiz Education Group in the Netherlands,and Bucheon University in Korea.Together with these institutions,we have carried out jointscientific research programs,professional exchanges,students overseas internshipand student exchange programs.Besides,BVCA established an overseas branch inThailand in 2019 to carry out a Sino-Thai higher vocational cooperative education pro-gram in Horticultural Technology.Foreign students from countries such as Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan,Russia,South Korea and Thailand enjoy their study at BVCA.
