The school offers four majors: Food Quality and Safety, Food Inspection and Testing Technology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and Green Food Production Technology. It has four on-campus training bases, namely the National Food Safety Virtual Simulation Training Center, the Food Safety Testing Center, the Comprehensive Training Center for Food Processing, and the Biotechnology Center. Additionally, it has established partnerships with over 50 cooperative enterprises, including China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation. The college currently has 850 students and 46 faculty members.
Several school members and students have engaged in academic research, educational exchanges, and collaborations with more than 10 vocational colleges abroad. They have also participated in joint educational programs with Thailand, developing course standards and delivering lectures to Thai students. Furthermore, the college has conducted scientific research collaborations with Voronezh State Agrarian University in Russia, resulting in the publication of multiple SCI papers.
